She needs to grow up, and so do you.

In your way of thinking she is not a person, she is an icon. You can give yourself to a cause or an idea, but you better do it when you are completely grown up and you are 100% you are not going to regret what you did.

in theory i mostly agree, but sarkazmo has it right, for better or worse.

remember that this phase is no doubt PART of her growing up process. that's why it's called a phase.
